Dee Dee is a single mother raising two young girls. She left their father this summer as he was abusing and molesting the children. Dee Dee was supporting herself and her children in a small apartment. That was until her landlord set the building on fire. They lost everything: clothes, furniture, mementos, everything. She was living in a room in a friend’s house so that her girls could remain in the same school district. Life’s Angels was informed of Dee Dee’s story. She was able to find a new and better apartment. With Life’s Angels’ support, she now lives rent-free through the beginning of next year as she attempts to rebuild her life. Dee says that her girls have never been happier, and the smiles on their faces mean the world to her.
