Peri Finklestein is an honor student at college who attends virtually, not due to covid, but due to Nemaline Myopathy Muscular Dystrophy diagnosis. Peri lives attached to a trach and oxygen 24/7 and is completely incapacitated. Peri has long maxed out her insurance. Her father lost his job due to covid, and her mother is her full-time caretaker.
